How to Recycle in Hudson, Ohio

Hudson, Ohio, doesn't have a city-wide system of recycling. Instead, each business and residence contracts with the hauler of their choice and selects among a number of plans for curbside pickup.

There are many other ways to recycle more types of items, but here is a beginning point for those people just looking to get basic service.

The trash/recycling haulers include:

AA (330-650-4105)
(locally-owned; charges $22 per month; includes recycling; no extra charges)
Allied/BFI (800-968-7789)
(charges extra for recycling, extra fuel surcharge too)
Republic Waste (330-830-9050)
(has plans that include recycling, including a $17 + fuel surcharge plan)
Waste Management (800-343-6047) (http://www.wm.com)
($20.54 plan includes recycling, but charges a fuel surcharge as well)

In addition to curbside pickup, here are some dropoff locations in Hudson:
  • Newspapers & magazines (green & yellow bins at schools and churches)
  • Aluminum cans (dropoff bin on Morse Road near school bus garage; another dropoff in parking lot behind First Congregational Church)
